Ty Coed is a stunning detached barn conversion, set within Plas Lligwy’s peaceful farmyard. The cottage is set on Plas Lligwy farm, a working farm of over 300 acres that includes 90 acres of woodland teeming with wildlife and home to three ancient historical sites.
Recently converted, this lovely stone holiday cottage offers spacious accommodation. The lounge and kitchen are open-plan: relax in the double height living room which is kept cosy on cooler days with under-floor heating and a gas “wood burning” stove. On warmer days, French windows can be opened out into Ty Coed’s enclosed garden. Cooking is a pleasure in the traditional hand-crafted fitted kitchen, which is well equipped for home cooking. Ty Coed’s utility room and modern bathroom both lead off the kitchen.
Ty Coed has two bedrooms, one downstairs double which leads off the lounge and one twin on the mezzanine first floor; this room has exposed beams and a sloping roof. The mezzanine area also houses a sofa bed for use when the property needs to accommodate five and it is a great place to relax and read.
Ty Coed guests are welcome to make use of Plas Lligwy’s shared games room. This is located behind Ty Coed and houses a table tennis table, pool table and table football, popular with families during their stays.
Ty Coed is a peaceful haven for a self-catering holiday on Anglesey, providing an ideal base for getting away from it all. Click here to check for availability or contact John Aron on 01248 410248 who will be delighted to help.
